Our father's best friend passed away from late-stage melanoma in his early 30s, which had spread to his bowel and his brain. This traumatic event had a profound impact on our dad, who had to watch him take his last breath before his life had even started.

We were raised our entire life to be incredibly sun safe, and acutely aware of the dangers of UV exposure. Our entire life, we have been devoted users of sunscreen and as we became women, we did not feel represented by what the market was offering.
