Our mission is to set the standard and redefine what it means to be an eco-conscious SPF centric beauty & skincare brand. Thinking sky high requires small steps on the journey and so we share with your our current achievements and our goals to make it there.
1% for the Planet
We are proudly part of the 1% for the planet network. 1% for the Planet represents a global network of businesses, individuals and nonprofit organizations tackling our planet's most pressing environmental issues by certifying members commit to donate the equivalent of 1% of gross sales.
Tree Planting
We are not just focused of our impact today but how we can improve our impact for the future. We are proudly committed to planting a tree for every sale we make. These trees that are planting through sustainability projects are not verified as contributing to carbon offsets until they are at least 10 years old. The tree planting projects we invest in are remote communities where the funds are invested in the local population and additionally improves social outcomes. These trees are an investment by us & you in the future of our planet.
Carbon Certified Neutral
Not yet, but on the way. We are proud to be offsetting at 125% all internal business carbon production and the personal carbon footprint of our workforce. We are currently working with our third party providers to understand their carbon footprint and how we can work to achieving an umbrella Carbon Neutral certification for all Outside Beauty & Skincare related activities.
Social Impact
We are proudly a female founded and led business. A philanthropic mindset is important to both our founders and we are excited to build this into the fabric of our brand. We are passionate about female based issues, skin cancer awareness, environmental conservation and the future of our very own Great Barrier Reef. We look forward to sharing & supporting these causes with our community.
Responsible Packaging
The beauty industry is a very large contributor to global pollution. We have worked hard to ensure as much of our packaging is recyclable as possible. Our products are made with glass containers and minimal amounts of recyclable plastic. Due to the nature of our products being SPF centric, we are not able to used recycled or sustainable plastics per TGA guidelines. Something we hope can change in the future. As a result, we offer a recycling program where you can ship your plastic elements back to us and we recycle them through the TerraCycle program.
